Happy New Year!

Our renovation is in full swing. We received our final permit this past Monday and the contractors, Incite Management Solutions, got quickly to work. They've pulled out all of the old cabinets and countertops, ripped out the carpet, and knocked out a couple of walls. We're changing the floor plan from three small exam rooms to two larger ones. They've started enlarging one of the bathrooms to make it fully ADA compliant so our patients in wheelchairs can easily access the facilities. Framing is up and next week they'll be putting in the new drywall. Since we had to wait on permits, they had time to already have our new cabinets made so they'll be installed soon too.

Last Wednesday our signs were installed at Statewood Professional Park. They look great! We'd like to thank FastSigns in Eastgate for helping us with these.

This coming Wednesday, we'll be going to Dayton to tour Midmark's showroom and pick out our exam tables. We love that we have an exam table company fairly local that makes their products here in the USA.

In the past month, we've been busy negotiating prices with Labcorp and Proscan so we can offer low priced alternatives to patients. Sometimes even with having insurance, paying cash (or through your HSA) for testing is significantly cheaper than going through the negotiated rate with your insurance company. This is especially true for patients in high deductible plans. We want to help our patients spend their healthcare dollars wisely. We will always give our patients a choice in where they get testing. If there is a location or facility you wish to use, we'll help you get your tests.

Everything is on schedule for our March 1st opening. We've had a strong pre-registration. There are still patient spots available and patients can continue to pre-register. Once we open, as long as the practice isn't full, we'll continue to accept registrations. We'd love to hear from you. Please contact us with any questions.
